Watching 30 minutes uninterrupted of masterclass acting would be amazing to see. I get it tho, it would be impossible to do with the whole back and forth with Tom unless we only heard Tom’s voice the whole time. But seeing an uncut take of just that raw emotion of hearing that type of news would have been crazy.
I read it was originally never supposed to show Tom and just be his voice but said his performance was too good to keep out
The actor for Tom was there recording the phone call during filming of pages 10-40 on the yacht then had to come back and film pages 10-40 from the perspective of the people on the plane

Also to keep the death a secret they had the actor show up to the studio for the rest of the season and had them film dummy scenes
