she got in that car and drove away way a little too fast for my liking idk. it also has a lot of implications on the end if Logan made her the successor in paper prior to this moment / day
She pregnant
You got to feel happy for Connor in some way, out of everyone he might be the most liberated. what happened to Logan didn’t really change his plans. Connor deserves his own happiness, considering what happened to him and his mother
Also holy hell can we talk about the “ Loony cake” part
I like how unexpected it is.
It’s not epic or dramatic. It’s much more akin to real life.
Anybody’s who’s ever got THAT phone call before in real life knows… the s*** is a shock
love how surreal it felt
i fr didnt believe it even tho hes a old ass c***
i was like this must be another one of his plays
She pregnant
if logan still got nut in his balls at 80+ years old then i'd have to give it up to the man

yeah I started the episode and then paused it to run and get some food thinking "oh it's just the wedding episode nothing too pressing"...got back and checked twitter before I unpaused and immediately saw a tweet about what a pivotal episode it was lol but wow...still in shock

I fully caught up on the season just today lol beautiful timing on my part

we didn't see kerry until the very end when she went to the back. she's in charge of his medicine & I also didn't like her reaction when she was talking, even if she was in shock.
Here we go again
Another vague hype tweet for the next episode to keep us going over the next week
https://twitter.com/kaiyashunyata/status/1645252327236878338were reviewers allowed to watch this episode before this season aired
crazy how nothing of this leaked afaik

Every wedding episode has been crazy
should've seen this coming

fam I paused it right after Logan was telling Roman what to do over the phone lol never would have imagined the other end of that pause would be them finding out he croaked suddenly :hah:
F***ing masterful. The most realistic portrayal of death I've seen on television. Sudden quick and it's over.
Give the show all the awards
Every wedding episode has been crazy
should've seen this coming
HBO got some weird f***ing beef with weddings
very excited to see how they handle the rest of the season without such an important character

I don't think she was actually involved but I DO think someone's gonna spin it that way to get her out of the picture

Succession gonna actually do the succession part I'm so excited

I thought this at first because the dynamic will change quite a bit without a driving force of conflict. But the show has just enough runway here for the eventual succession and finale. That's enough conflict to drive it for what, 5 episodes?

Yeah exactly its gnna feel very diff but i fully trust these writers

yup he was actually supposed to die in season 1, but Brian Cox and Mark said that the audience would miss him too much. So I feel like through all of the seasons and development of the characters, this happening so shockingly and out of no where sets it up perfectly for more chaos for these kids without their silver spoon at the helm.
