    Kendall murdered a kid

Who is defending Kendall and what does that have to do with the betrayal in the show?

    idiotic post

show is already up there with the greats of prestige television in every critic’s list and water cooler conversation

    that’s never gonna change

It seems the discourse was all about how it will end. The destination not the journey. Shows like this don’t tend to age as well.

You mention water cooler conversation, of course people will discuss a currently airing show, that’s not what myself and others are arguing.

This is a show that gets talked about A LOT in certain corners of the internet, it doesn’t get ridiculous viewer ratings in the real world.

NO idea if this is intentional and i haven't seen this mentioned anywhere

but the variation of the succession theme that plays when tom comes into frame, in the moment where he assumes the CEO role (2:25)

is the main theme, transposed down 3 semitones (taken and shifted down by 3 notes)

its the main theme (and everything that music represents) but down 3 (shiv, kendall and roman)

    down three

This show gave us a perfectly satisfying but unsatisfying ending and I think that will carry it into the hall of fame of television

I get that the final seasons aren’t good, but let’s not act like GOT wasn’t peak TV for years.
Seasons 3 and 4 are some of the best seasons of TV ever, and they belong in the history books

But hey if you hate the entire show now then that’s just how you feel

Also someone correct me if I’m wrong or am misremembering but at the beginning of the season when Kendal and Roman were made co-ceo, it’s not like they cut her out wasn’t that decision made because the board would not accept her in that role?

She accepted them as temporary co-ceos to facilitate the sale to Gojo then they all start their new business together

Kendall convinced Roman to switch up and sabotage the deal to stay on as ceo that’s a backstab

  • May 31, 2023

Kendall probably never gave a s*** about doing a business with his siblings. He knew he could never get the ceo position with the kid thing his dad had over him so if he couldn’t have it he didn’t want his siblings to either

So they all start a company of their own and as soon as the man who had leverage over him died he went back to gunning for ATN

Yea but didn’t she start making that back deal with Mattson that same episode well before she knew they were trying to block the deal

Iirc Shivs convo with Mattson in that episode is her trying to get the deal to go through like what Kendall and Roman were supposed to negotiate, he asks her what needs to be done to buy the company and she tells him to offer more money (same convo the blood stuff came up). That was still in line to what she believed they all wanted

Then Kendall & Roman go on the mountain to sabatoge the deal when they come down she knows they aren’t being truthful to her and on the plane they learn Mattson upped the offer listening to Shiv’s advice. Kendall & Roman have not told her they plan to keep the company in this episode

I might have to do a rewatch to confirm but that’s how I remembered it happening
