Wait u seriously think that Shiv was trying to save Kendall from becoming her dad? lmfao. Shiv did what she did because she couldn't stomach the golden child brother who took all her father's attention growing up winning. It's as simple as that. It was a selfish decision
I don’t think it was a hero play I just think she was being genuine when she said she couldn’t stomach him being like that and that it indirectly was a way for her to prevent him from trying to do something she didn’t think he could do. Her intentions were selfish but I don’t think it’s implausible she had more than one perspective in her decision

No she was saying that she couldn't stomach him winning. She was just looking for reasons to justify her actions. That's why she threw out the "You killed someone" s***
This man has been the same height since he was 12 lmao
The way Kendall calls Roman a cuck in that boardroom scene is so funny
Lmao he charged that one up
Why he doing this
Perfect ending.
One of the best finales in tv history.
thinking about it
it HAD to end without any of the kids in charge
Lets try this. Which show is better?
Mr. Robot or Succession?
both in my top 5
all the kids basically never matured past adolescence, partly cos of their insulated upbringing but also cos Logan never brought them up alongside them. he preferred to string them along rather than raise them up to surpass him. this was never more clear than in all the insane ceo team compositions throughout the show, particularly at the end where shiv and Roman can't bear to see Ken take the reins even when he is clearly the sensible choice. they'd rather blow it up than see another kid be daddy's favourite.
Definitely not an emphatic win for Tom but that fits his character too. The Roys come from money and status and want to maintain and even grow both both, Tom didn't and he wants to burrow in and find a place for himself by any means necessary including sucking up to people and doing their dirty work. He's now Matssons puppet but he's well compensated and has the prestige title to boot.
nails it on the f***ing head !
That "if I can't have it, then you can't have it" energy.
Smh
nails it on the f***ing head !
It felt like the three of them in the room were reduced to all their childhood jealousy and insecurities, the filter of professionalism or maturity just dropped
in the end of the day Greg won which what matters
honestly they could never fire him cause he knows too much about the company and he is somewhat competent at his job
If this was GOT and a character made the same play Shiv did we’d be praising. She secured the throne for her kid
Kendall simply got out played
yea i just looked it up and she started having s***w nate for a bit before the open relationship proposal
And mind you, she proposed this the night before the wedding

Secured the throne for her kid? Tom is a puppet CEO and the family has ZERO board seats. The company is sold to Mattson - it is no longer a family business, and it’s a subsidiary of GoJo. There is no control and no feasible way to pass it down

But Roman said at least her kid would be bloodline
Of course Tom is a puppet doesn’t mean those type of people don’t get their kids in the business
That’s true about no board seats tho I forgot about that

Bloodline in the sense that he’s the only actual blood grandchild of Logan’s - apparently one of Ken’s was adopted and the other was either from a sperm donor or a moment of infidelity (?). Not like bloodline CEO
