who? it’s getting praise everywhere
You’ll see most of the hate if you go on Succession’s Twitter and look at their recent tweet .
But it’s mostly just people who thought the kids would redeem themselves in the end
logan was correct not to let his kids inherit his company. logan built his company from nothing. his kids were handed everything on a silver platter and were unserious people.
who's another person who didn't come from money and built their own legacy? TOM.
Tom didn’t inherit the company though. Its not his per say.
BUT HE DID MADE IT OUT THE MUD!!!!
The writers toyed with the idea of having Roman and Gerri f*** btw
I thought they did tbh
im still processing kendall's denial of the waiter thing
on the one hand yeah its gross how all-consuming his want to be CEO is, that he goes NRPI, beats up roman and invalidates any bond he had with his siblings
on the other hand - was he supposed to be like "yeah i killed him" in an office full of people who could hear them?? was shiv trying to bait him out?? i dont get it
Shiv used it as an excuse to refuse to vote for him and Kendall's denial was simply desperate. He would have said anything: the joke is that it makes the situation worse.

it was done to back him in a corner
shiv knew he wasn’t able to accept it, it’s his Achilles heel to some extent.
This show man…we’ll never see anything like it again. The finales have all been so beautifully tragic
They’ve earned the Shakespearean comparisons

Shiv was right though in the long term no one should believe Kendal was the best for the job, massive c*** nonetheless
Now her baby daddy holds the keys and surely they won't f*** up their child as bad as Logan
In typical shiv fashion I'm sure she continues to be a life long f*** up
Tom Is just a puppet he doesn’t really hold any power he’s just there to fire niggas also their kid is definitely f***ed both parents are incapable of forming healthy love for anyone

It's shiv who couldn't accept him winning tbh. She didn't do any of that for a rational reason.
She couldn't do it simply because she hates him and wouldn't let him win because she couldn't. Her reasons are purely selfish and spiteful. That's it.

Man one last masterful episode. Stuck the landing for sure, although obviously tragic. They had me believing it was actually going to be Ken getting anointed and becoming his dad but once they were in the board room I was like "this is going to go poorly." Kinda wanna rewatch it all the way from the beginning

yeah for sure, that entire scene was violent. verbally and physically

Shiv really never changed her estimation of Ken from day one not like he ever did anything to change the perception but damn she really did that petty s*** at the last possible moment
just to let some Swedish nigga and his puppet win out
They are not serious people
Logan got along the most with Con because he never considered him next in line, which is sweet in a f***ed up way

Con - “he never liked me”
that line was profound in a different way for con
That’s probably the one thread that feels the worst for how it played out. Pretty much every kid ends up being what they were, but us going through all that with Connor for him to actually just be the ugly duckling no one cared about feels bad (even though it was the theme from day 1).
I actually felt the opposite, that intimate home video shows a somewhat softer side of Logan and Connor is the only sibling there for it. Connor just was never in the running to be the heir like the other 3 so had a different and maybe slighlty better relationship with their dad and at the end the other 3 didn't become the heir anyways
They are not serious people
Calling someone a non serious person might turn into one of my favorite insults

The crazy thing is that shiv and Roman still loved him until Kendall tried to act like it was a play. There was a way for Kendall to get out of it but he wanted to win so badly that he fumbled both the position and his siblings in the same moment
