The kids were never loyal (or respectful) to him enough for him to value their seats more tho. They’d abuse that power over him. Tom’s ceiling was always being a loyal CEO with less power regardless of who ran the company.

Logan wanted to sell the company and it got sold. The kids’ attempt to flip the narrative to keeping it in the family was largely based on the hopes one would screw the other two and be successor.

If Tom stays the course like he always has this series he’ll be fine and have enough room to gain power in other ways

Being unhappy about Tom being the winner is one thing, but I’m talking about people who are calling it an outright horrible episode and ending just because their favorite didn’t get an ending that they assumed would happen
