here's my initial take on shiv's decision. I hated it at first, because seeing the 3 kids on the same team was awesome. it killed me that she did that after they teased us with team roy uniting behind ken. but ultimately as the end of the episode played out, it clearly made for a more satisfying ending. shiv is right - ken isn't a good person nor a good CEO. it's hard to say if shiv made the right decision or not but I think she did, because even though ken was firing on all cylinders these last 2 episodes, we can't forget about who he really is, as demonstrated over the course of the series.

I also think her decision was ultimately best for both herself and roman, and ken in the long run (if he can get over the initial shock of it).

hat's off to the writers for the way everything unfolded. 10/10 episode.

She cucked herself out of her own company now though and has to sit there watching Tom's smug ass run s*** while she bregrudgingly raises his kid

There was a scene where Conor does a eulogy and it turns out his happiest memory with his dad was actually a dream, and it involved George Washington sitting under a tree

Would the show runners say Shiv made the right decision? I think so.

how many billions would she have lost when ken and roman f***ed the company

she's rich af and has a chance to re-kindle a relationship with her baby daddy/hubby.

shiv is the tin man. she might f*** around and grow a heart after that finale. get a real life finally.

Ehh way more optimistic view of it than I have she's soul and mentally f***ed for life, just like Kendall. Roman's the only one that has some sense of peace at the end.

this show was obviously a tragedy but why cant a tragic show ever give us a happy ending? would it be so bad if walter white lived happily every after in breaking bad? must all bad characters face a reckoning in 21st century screen writing?

For some reason that slap Greg got in was so powerful

the sound effect, the subtle camera zoom and shake, tom selling it

Was cheering at my TV when Greg finally got his get back

honestly the moment that ken put his feet up on the desk in the ceo office i knew one of them was gonna betray him

Honestly seems like she was more taken aback by the homoeroticism of their convo.

Company was already being sold under Logans direction. They were already going to "lose" it.

The kids only reinserted themselves in the race and reframed it as "saving the family company" after Logan died and made clear that they weren't serious people who should be near the company lol

Cause mentally f***ing your kids for 40 years doesnt result in happy endings
