Am I the only one that felt so bad for Shiv during her pregnancy confession scene? Like damn...Tom was just vicious lmao
His acting was incredible there.
The slightest softening in his face, wanting to believe what he just heard, but then that Coke paranoia takes over full force

Nah not really when you treat everything like a play/leverage move guess what happens
Honestly thought Mencken was trying to f*** Roman (literally) last season cause of the weird sexual tension between them in that bathroom scene. Wish they built up that relationship more for the inevitable betrayal
Something interesting about Succession is that they’ll have these side characters who are so integral to the story of the show (Mattson, Mencken, Rhea, Pearce, Stewy, etc.), but then you realize that they’re barely even in the show whatsoever.
Mencken’s only been in 4 episodes and before this season, Mattson was only in 3 and the entire climax of Season 3 had to do with the GoJo deal.

Coke paranoia? She’s been lying to him their entire relationship

It was that "I really wanna believe you Shiv but it's you" type of look lol

Nah tbh I woulda questioned it too
But Tom is f***ed for saying Shiv is part of why Logan died. That's the real f***ed up part

That was one of my issues with season 3. They introduced a bunch of characters who seemed important but weren't really utilized. At least Mattson got more screentime in this season which i've been enjoying so far

Nate and Kendall def experimented together in college

I definitely got this vibe too
laughing at the tweet that's going viral that accuses succession writers of being misogynistic bc they wrote shiv as a dipshit
all the kids are dipshits
something that was also kinda interesting is that greg might seem to think matsson is bullshit? him exposing shiv's alliance with matsson basically ruins any alliance he could possibly have with matsson, signaling a complete commitment to kendall and roman.
greg has generally been very solid with the horses he picks, so i'm pretty interested to see why his intuition led him to the brothers instead of matsson. or maybe greg was just tired of shiv trying to s*** on him so it was more of an emotional play.
quad squad dawg core four flow
Coke paranoia? She’s been lying to him their entire relationship
Very very true

this is true and why comments like the one a few pages back about how their mencken writing is insane / masterclass / perfect are wrong. they are doing the opposite of "show, dont tell" by having him off screen and just letting shiv repeatedly tell us how scary he is

Lmao

I did as well, maybe since I got a kid, these niggas a lil sociopathic lol
what do you folks think these other d***heads would do if they perceived themselves as being frozen out, everybody’s a weasel on this show.. shiv, though has certainly unraveled after seeming to me like potentially the most formidable of the Roy kids (in earlier season)
