I don’t think it’s a plot hole Roman was feeling insecure when he realized Gerri doesn’t think he’s as competent as his father he immediately tried to walk it back when he spoke with Ken but the damage was already done but none of Logan’s kids are competent enough to run the company Ken was groomed his entire life for the position and he’s still a massive f*** up/wildcard
