that’s kinda why i can’t just outright reject astrology, because in theory if everything is connected to the universe and everyone to each other etc. then hypothetically as above so below… how accurate you could measure this and how it could be done in the first place is the dice-y part

Well that's a pretty big assumption that everything is connected tho..

There have been studies done on the claims that astrology makes about personality and none of em turn out to be true so far..

also, astrology for being a pseudo science is actually pretty damn complex when you really look into it. i guarantee you half the ppl itt don’t even know their big 3 or their actual birth chart

they have all different types of names for certain planetary aspects, these aspects can be completely changed depending on what houses they are in, you could lack certain elements in your chart like it’s absolutely crazy

my personal experiences along with my reading of religious philosophy has lead me to believe that there is a sort of universal life force (anima mundi) that is present within all of us. there is also common themes found in a lot of different religions and faiths that i honestly have just come to the conclusion that most religions are talking about the same exact God, they just go about different ways with dressing it up (Hindus speak of advaita vedanta which is non duality, the attainment of this is realized through fervent spiritual practice and is ineffable, the Chinese speak of the unspeakable Tao, buddhism speaks of nirvana etc etc.)

i don’t think is really something that science can exactly be of any use here, it’s just something you kinda “know” (risking sounding pretentious 😅) ofc i could easily be attributing way too much to my experiences and could be a victim of placebo, but i have my reservations.

It is actually, there have been various studies on it. It’s the reason every human society in history has had some form of religion. Belief in a higher power is inherent, even among children born in largely atheist societies like Japan or China.
