No one with half a brain cell considers a widely regarded (one of the) best albums of all time (TPAB) or a Pulitzer winning album (DAMN) "forgettable". You're either baiting or you're stupid.

it deserved it. second highest rated rap album of all time and objectively critic proof. Like you couldn't even find a single flaw on that album, and by flaw I mean an objective flaw, not your personal taste.

Someone lacking musical knowledge really shouldn't be talking about what's deserving of an award

Anybody with vast musical knowledge has already talked about how DAMN absolutely deserved that pulitzer...like legendary musician Herbie Hancock said, it's probably a top 5 album of all time, regardless of the genre.

That album was a basic mainstream album lmao. But it came from Kendrick so everybody must see it as a classic. The Kendrick album that deserved the Pulitzer was TPAB but they f***ed that up and decided they'd award whatever he dropped next with the award. Same way Grammys didn't give GKMC any awards and corrected that by giving i 25 Grammys the next chance they got.

I don't understand this need to force people to see DAMN as a classic. It isn't. That's why critic reviews are a scam. Kendrick's classic albums are GKMC/TPAB and those are timeless albums. DAMN is just a really good mainstream rap album. Nothing bad about that but people will act like you're being blasphemous if you don't call DAMN a classic.
