same thing happened to me. i set the player 1 option to classic and the avatar controls (i think that's what i said?) and that worked

essentially i just flipped every option possible to classic and i was set

Deadass. I made it out of placements in bronze (which I dont get because I went 7-3) and I thought it was just gonna be bums i'd wash through until Gold but nah. I'm mid silver right now and this s*** has been a GRIND. Crazy to me people are Diamond+ atm

Kind of . It requires less movement. Dynamic is the full out mode where it does combos for you on a button press based on what would be the smartest move. Modern requires less movements. Would say it controls more like SFV.

Try it some for yourself. The moves do different damage. In Tutorial trial mode you can do any control style

basically you do super moves like hadoken or sonic boom with one button versus actually doing the motion. its for new players

tragic that the character select music isnt a banger like 3rd strike's tho
