YeezyDudeWord... I got a couple of ones to get besides Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 so I am satisfied so far with the ones on PS4/PS5

Hmm... Yeah at some point for me. I am still waiting for the right one and then so will I feel it's justified getting one as they're not cheap you know? The ones I've checked out so far are at least between $200 - $300 here in Denmark so it gotta be worth it... And before getting one so do I have to get that DualSense Edge controller in the midnight black color first though!

Technichally I think if you buy the ps4 version on your ps5 and use backwards compatibility it should work. Otherwise hitbox arcade is working on an adapter butu who knows. Victrix the main out of box option but 400 then tax is bonkers. I have dabbled with a victrix at work its durable and cool but 400 too much

yeah same bro, I guess if it’s possible to use keyboard with ps5 or just use the Dualsense until a legit hitbox comes out. I rlly do not f*** with Sony’s stance on wanting to keep controllers segmented, that “we believe in generations” mentality is such bs
@ShintaroKago pretty sure you can get a ps5-compatible PCB and solder it on an older hitbox so that’s also an option if no company is able to release one

I wish the edge supported four paddles, I 100% would’ve gone for it over a hitbox if it did

Exactly but man I’m not liking a lot of Sonys moves right now. Like I copped the pulse headset then you drop the inzone forcing me to get that. Like we haven’t even scraped the surface of next gen and now you already dropping a slim/pro

Yeah and don't forget about the earbuds/headphones that are PlayStation related coming this year since the InZone monitors/headphones are not made just for the PlayStation consoles and therefore do have dope features both for the PS5 and PC but more for the PC though so far as you can change more settings on there so far.
I feel you though! I don't like to buy everything Sony releases though so if it's worth so is it a cop if not... Then nah maybe when a newer version of it is out so will I maybe get one

all that has been announced fightstick wise with SF6 is Hori with SF6 art but with Tekken and others dropping soon I am kind of surprised no new fighstick or pads are dropping. Part of me doesn't want to buy any til new ones get announced to see what they are thinking. There is no way we get to the end of the year with no entirely new fightsticks or pads outside of Victrix

word probably not worth it then. I don’t know if I’m just lucky as f*** or what but I’ve never had Sony controllers fail on me, I definitely hear the people that do have issues though

I haven’t either tbh. I’m still working with the same controller packaged with the console. Granted I’ve put a lot of game time in but probably not near as much as others.

So maybe in mid-late 2025 so will there be some leaks and then some official stuff revealed before it's out in 2026 or 2027 as it'll be better that they took their time and improved it and done some research about what the gamers want and especially the E-Sport/FGC people for example as I am sure that half or more of them will request some extra stuff getting added to the next DualSense Edge controller and one of them is for sure 2 more paddles in the back and more parts maybe that can be changed which I think will make the controller even better
