IV(Produced by Ono) is one of, if not the biggest reason the FGC isn't dead in the water still.
On top of that, a lot of what they did in IV directly influenced V(Which he also he EP'd).

thats cool but ono is also the reason sfv was an absolute dumpster fire for the first three or so years of its release. it wasn't until the new guys came over and SFV actually became a complete product worth its price.

My point is, NO they shouldn't have gotten rid of him a long time ago. Clearly, he helped save the genre. That's not up for debate.

Ono ruined SF5. He did his thing in the past but he turned it into trash with the V system and He almost made SF6 into a disaster as well ( 2v2) before the new kids came and saved both.
We can respect Ono for what he did while also recognizing along the way he lost the vision.

It was an exaggeration but the people who don’t like the direction that SF6 are in the minority.
And this really is the one. So many casual people are coming back since the launch of SF5
