I’m using the hori fightpad on ps5, great controller with a similar form factor to DS4

decent fundamentals have been helping me do alright but my combos are trash gotta stick with the process

Not that I’m amazing but good fundamentals can take you rlly far, it’s good to put some time in the lab with those combos at some point but it’s not necessary imo

People saying let the balance rock for a year just trying to secure capcom cup with their busted character

Game isn’t terribly balanced though. I say leave strong characters strong except guile nerf him and buff everyone else but especially Lily

yeah you're right, I started by primarily trying to learn combos but I've learned it's pointless if I don't know what moves to use to win neutral and get the combos started, been watching more footage

switched to Ryu after starting with learning Ken, and actually putting myself out there and putting in the time to learn has helped a ton, I'm doing mixups and shimmys and s*** now still have a loooong way to go but it feels good that I'm making progress. also finding people in casual matches that are willing to play like more than 5-7 games helps a ton when it comes to learning for me

this game is finally clicking, I'm going on win-streaks and shxt still got a whole lot to learn but I'm glad I'm seeing progress

Guile’s in plat , but honestly I can’t play high level charge characters or my fingers start screaming. Gonna go to ryu next until AKI comes out
