I agree there are definitely issues but I really enjoyed the prologue specifically and I think it ended nicely.

season 5 is just flat out dissapointing in so many ways its not even worth the energy to get into it

with that being said the duffer brothers forgot how their own universe works. plot hole after plot hole.

season 5 earns a 5/10

I liked how it wrapped up... It emotionally hit all the points for me

But the journey there was bumpy. The way they defeated vecna felt very predictable and not epic enough.

All the stuff in vecnas world looked awful... Can't believe they literally green screened the whole thing.

It's like netflix gave them a tiny bag to make s5 or something. The previous seasons didn't look as terrible as that

at least the finale had decent direction compared to some other episodes and might actually be my favorite out of the bunch. However, by far and away the worst season overall. The show became way too big for it's own good
