25 mil just off the last episode is a lotta money

This was pretty okay, honestly overhated, but a toothless finale

I didn't think it would be very hard for a Stan of a show to predict dialogue lol. Especially when the writers browse fandom interactions and poach for material

I loved it. Of course we can nitpick little things all day but overall I really loved it

Not enough people talk about how the music made this show

The ambience set from the synth production is really what drew people in

They nailed the musical emotion element.

But jamming Purple Rain at the end felt more like a flex. Guarantee they could have picked a better song for that scene and it could have had another Kate bush moment . Was cool to hear prince but didn’t feel like it fit

Also I know damn well we are getting a movie like Breaking Bad el Camino in like 5 years of Eleven going out and finding Mike.

Netflix can’t resist the money

The finale was never gonna be received well. They waited too long in between seasons.

I remember season 4, now being revered somehow, getting mad hate too aside from episode 7. People went into this hating cause of how long they had to wait.

I personally thought Vol 1 was fire and that Vol 2 was supposed to just be build up for the finale which I think was a great finale.

The best scene easily was when Vecna was messing with Hopper

Bad writing aside, damn ts looked ugly. That whole scene in the "abyss" looked like ass.

Reddit fans could prob whip up concept art in 1 day that would have been a 100x cooler landscape for the final fight

I just can't believe a desert was the best they could come up with considering the budget was $400 million

me why duffer brothers didnt kill main characters , why so much plot armor , why they didnt make
season 5 like 80- slasher where vecna kill main kids one by one in every episode?

I’ll say their willingness to do interviews after every volume + the finale is commendable, but holy f*** man.

100% they kept them all alive so that they can do spin-off series or reboot it or a sequel with the same cast/characters
