i honestly feel like they had an idea for S1 as a stand alone mini series

everything after that has been write as we go along type of s***
some of the logic and the plot armour and the writing is weak
but its entertaining af

Hardly a theory at this point. The Duffer’s can continue to say otherwise, but there’s overwhelming (and still mounting) evidence that this was originally conceived as a one and done.
