Just watched 2-4.

Holly’s kidnapping and the subsequent reveal feels so disconnected from the rest of what’s going on, especially considering the how and why is being explained without her with others. I guess they had to get you know who in there somehow.

Fat kid aura unmatched. Forever.

Murray has too much screen time, but any Murray is too much Murray.

Still feels incredibly uncontrolled and now that we’re halfway through the season I think this is allowed to be a legitimate complaint.

I’m sure they weren’t thinking about what the release schedule would be while they were making it, but other than the group at/around the military base the rest are left in relatively unremarkable situations not really worth that of a mid-season finale that won’t return for another month.

Eleven’s whole thing leading up to what is arguably the most loathed arc in the show up to this point is certainly a choice. In general she kind of feels like an afterthought, I expect that will change… but maybe not?

I’ve cooled off on this show the more apocalyptic it’s gotten, but I did think THAT part of episode 4 was legitimately great. The emotion finally landing as it’s intended and some pretty cool camera work that could’ve easily felt cheap or gimmicky, but imo isn’t.

God I hope not. I think the reasoning for the kids is more so based on the other kids when Henry & Eleven were in Brenner’s lab. Not sure exactly what he’s gonna use them for but I’m thinking the same exact thing as Dr. Brenner just with his vision.
