To be fair college is 100% bullshit in terms of how much it costs now. No 18 year olds can afford that without a massive loan that theyll spend a huge portion of their life paying off, or help from their parents. Prices have skyrocketed to a point where college isnt even a real option for a lot of people.
College doesn't need to be free but it definitely shouldn't be what it is rn.
Also people struggling with the pandemic and a lot of potential work is gone because of rules the government's have set, 600 bucks is like throwing on a bandaid on a broken leg for a lot of people. I know business owners that almost had their business die in the first lockdown, with a 2nd one coming and their savings depleted you think the 600 gonna fix that?

It's never been easy for young people though. Young people in this country are still way better off than in other countries.
Outside of bullshit college tuition fees what's so hard about being young? The guy was probably going 10 years ago, what's so different?
