If people have been told they'd be getting $2000, then they're naturally going to be annoyed that they aren't getting $2000. It really ain't deeper than that. People still gonna take the $1400 regardless you ain't saying anything. But for the last month, they been talking up giving $2000 stimulus checks. They were making a stink that $600 wasn't enough and that $2000 is what they should be giving out. Just to change up and give $1400.
That's a pretty good reason for people to be upset, even moreso since what exactly is stopping them from giving $2000? Folk been hyping up a Democratic Pres/VP and Senate majority specifically for stuff like this because Mitch McConnell was supposedly the reason why people weren't getting that much. Now he's out the picture and people still aren't getting their $2000. I can see why people would feel a way. Doesn't even have anything to do with entitlement. Don't say one thing and then not deliver plain and simple
