When I hear his "best film in 20 years" I start thinking like wtf with all his classics like saving private ryan, Jurassic Park, etc.Then I remember nigga 20 years ago from now is just the mid 2000s so it probably is his best movie in that timeframe

One of the few filmmakers to routinely create actual cinematic stories that become bigger than movies and something of legend
And then on top of that, he just happens to make mature and complex works like Lincoln, Schindlers List, Minority Report, AI and Munich just to prove to yall he ain’t just a blockbuster director
And on a technical level his framing and camera work is next level
