This site has the weirdest takes on Steve Lacy

From the posts on here, you'd think Steve was some new crazy erratic artist that lacks talent.
When dude has been putting out quality music for years now, and seems to be pretty chill the majority of the time besides that one video

You are guaranteed to see at least one batshit crazy meltdown every show, therefore I would say it is worth the admission price.

    It’s resale? Supply and demand?

It’s not resale. It’s the front cost.

if people are willing to pay it what's the issue? people say Frank Ocean is scamming because he charges exorbitant prices and then doesn't ship his s*** until 2 years later

Just because you can do something does not mean you should. I’ve been to much bigger artists than Steve and they weren’t even that high

Umm no it’s not. I think you’re confusing types of tickets here

Those shows sold out almost immediately at low prices. Everything since has been people reselling the tickets they bought at high costs.

I assumed the 2-300 $ tickets were resell my bad.

Even then, some artist might have a say but ultimately its up to the label I imagine. His tickets were originally cheaper but once Bad Habit blew up the label and/or venue probably raised the price because the demand became higher.

No dude you were right originally lol. OP thinks some of the resell prices were face value

Those shows were selling out in presale at some venues. OP would have never seen the original prices if he’s just checking now

How far are tours usually set up between after an album release if you know? Asking cause I’m not sure.

They all were priced at ~$30 USD and Australia tour seems to be more expansive.

Again, like I said I think you’re not looking at the right spot and confusing sales. This is Germany for example:

Its different for every artist. A huge artist like Taylor is probably gonna start planning their tour almost a year or two in advance but Steve could have been planning his a few months in advance and thats why pricing changed so suddenly
