Familiar with MBF, very avant garde. I was messing with Urwek(think that’s how it’s spelled) at a time too. Jacob can be too much, but some of his pieces are insane construction. Godfather is 🤩🤩, just the intricacies alone are nuts

It has nothing to do with my opinion on the brands. I just think claiming that any of those watchmakers are in any way replacing the trinity in the watch industry is inaccurate.

Fair. They will never truly replace because their legacy is cemented. I do think I’m 50 years people will look at them as a modern trinity in a sense. The movements and designs are probably the most exciting for the last decade.

That’s a great brand. The Ur-100 is very interesting. Yeah the godfather is cool as well.

I would be lying if I said I didn't think it was a joke mockup when I first saw it, but I don't think it's as bad as some people are making it out to be. For what it is it was done fairly tastefully. After all it could've been a Hublot collab.

Still. It's a watch with a superhero on it. It's not any cooler than the plastic watches kids wear imo.

I like the APRO its a classic genta design but I've never liked the offshore type concepts. I feel that AP is a one trick pony when it comes to watches as they've failed with their dress watch line. Jules Audemar is it? They have so many finishing issues AP just isn't worth it in my opinion.

Unfortunately only 5% collectors want dress watches. Everyone wants a steel sports watch either made by AP, PP or Rolex. There’s also great steel sports what’s that you can get for under retail like the chopard alpine eagle and piaget polo s.

It’s crazy 2 because the prices are out of this world for the AP, Pp and Rolex’s people should really be buying the independents and getting into high complications.

that AP is very beautiful thanks for sharing. yeah dress watches are in the minority but ive fancied them. always liked the tank and a lot of jlc mut watches.
