Tate has become the best part of this show

Thematically I feel like the show this season really more than ever is struggling with what it wants to be. It’s like trying to highlight systemic racism in various institutions, but at the same time deal with d*** dealing in a glamorized way. The writing isn’t good enough in the show to make this juxtaposition not come across goofy and janky as it is.

Like with all the younger cast going to the same college, it’s tryna simultaneously go for a grounded college experience (minus the wardrobe of the entire show). Like it’s apparent it’s trying to do somewhat give a homage to A Different World. If the writing was better they could get this off, but it’s so bland, then the over the top d*** dealing, and murder going on just makes it look even more ridiculous

it seems like it might be directly after the conclusion of season 1 of Force they did it really weird. I don’t think it’s canceled because it was one of the highest watched spin-offs but there’s a lot of Drama with Starz regarding Power. I’m almost positive Insaw Joseph post once that season 2 had wrapped up filming.
