Truly a grueling watch
And not due to it's explicit nature
Worst season of power ever. So f***ing s***
first 6 episodes were atrocious, last 3 have been getting better
I feel like I’m the opposite of most people. I thought Force started off good but the writing got super messy towards the mid season. The finale was probably the messiest and so many plot holes and problems too
It made absolutely 0 sense for liliana to die. For starters why bring her back and make her one of the more likable characters to kill her off season 1\. For her to get shot before and survive just to get shot again was whack. Her death in general makes 0 sense. Why would Claudia kill her? Matter fact she knew what was up BEFORE the meet because of Jenard. She could have spoke up much sooner.
The introduction of the 4 horseman was trash. Hyping them up to be these elite bad ass dudes just for them to get taken out like any regular henchman in one episode. The plan for them to trick Tommy was stupid. The whole shootout was stupid. Tommy had no real cover just standing in one small room waiting for them to start shouting. Jenard’s plan to kill Diamond was even dumber. Like they had the foundation for something great with this season. Interesting characters too and fumbled it hard. The set up so many different possible plots and settled for the most nonsensical and least interesting things.
One thing I’d love for them to do honestly that won’t happen. Tommy has said over and over how smart DMac is and he needs to be away from the streets. What’s a good option for him? Has Tariq’s connections to get him into Stansfield and away from Chicago. Would be a cool crossover imo but I feel like it still ends with him dying in NY and Tommy coming to kill Riq. Idk.

I think they just didn’t know what direction to take the show. Feels like they had several starts and scrapped it midway. At certain points it ain’t even feel like it’s Tommy’s show

who thought this was a good idea at the first place
“I am not at liberty to answer anything in that vein except to say what we love about Power is the potential to spinoff and to spinoff successfully which we have done,” she said. “Which in theory, we would love to do again. I love that you’re hearing it.”

I was actually sorta looking forward to this. Wanted a political drama.
