SammyIn terms of Jabari and Tariq, although they didn't show it in the best way, I think they he realised it was Zeke that was f***ing that professor so he was no longer jealous of Tariq but he still needed him to finish that book (which I assume he would've made a lot of money from) and thats why he kinda wanted to protect him

Yup pretty much. Jabari basically wanted to leverage what he knew to get the green light from Riq to use his story. He definitely knew way too much to survive especially after being antagonizing to Riq for majority of the semester 🤣

With all the characters now being legal age in the eyes of the law little s*** like that can go a long way to maintain the dynamics youth present in the show. I just literally came up with all that in my head but it makes sense
