Basically answers questions about the series

-once again confirmed all three Tejada children are Lorenzo's

    • Cane's real name is Lorenzo Jr, Cane comes from his street name "Hurricane"

-Dru is pattern after Michael Corleone( I peeped this)

-We will dig deeper into Lauren and Diana

-Says Effie's mother is "messed up"

-Hints that Cane does survive but season 2 the dynamic between he, Monet and Lorenzo will be forever changed.

-Will not clarify Tasha's fate but loved when a fan suggested Tasha be the next "big bad"

-Will not confirm or deny Tommy being the finale

-Possible Ghost can appear as a "ghost"

    Ghost as a ghost

    this show mad annoying

how do the Tejada family have no idea who Ghost/Tommy etc is. Just seems weird

    just bring Tommys show forward

I get that they might not know Ghost, but I would’ve thought they’d know or heard about Tommy

    My thoughts on season 1:

It was great. I was mixed on episodes at first being harsh, but realized I was being harsh. I still feel like some of my complaints were valid and I have reason to say the writing is still sloppy

The season finale was cool, but Tommy’s return felt so forced. It didn’t even really seem like Tommy

    • they alluded to Monet knowing who Ghost was. The fact she’s moving weight and has no clue about Tommy or Ghost just doesn’t make sense to me

    • Where is 2-bit? He didn’t try to collect his money once.

    • Paz and Tasha talked like they had a plan. Nothing came of it at all

-Professor Reynolds character basically 180d. If we go based on how jealous and petty his character is, he would have turned Tariq in right away. Him pulling the whole move with not stereotyping the black students and protecting Tariq was off. It made no sense for him to get all buddy buddy with Tariq imo even for the sake of his book.

The whole scene at the end with Tommy and Monet annoys me too. They basically made it look like Tommy wasn’t the crazy ass character we knew and loved. Something about it just bugged me but that’s probably me nit picking

Finale was decent. I was entertained for most of it. Didn't really like how they handled the whole Tommy getting the FBI off him. That was a lil too soap opera-esq to me. Especially in 2020, a car explosion, and they drop the investigation afterwards? They gonna inspect it after the fire to at least get a body. Just unnecessarily convoluted and contrived plot resolution. Also Monae getting the drop on Tommy was some bs. My boy ain't ever letting someone get the drop on him like that. When Tommy told Tariq he would beat his ass, I felt that line delivery in my soul Looking forward to Tommy's series out of all the future spin offs need it asap.

Happy that Tariq smoked that goofy nigga Jabari. I was tired of him for so long.

I hope the actor who plays Zeke is just a great actor, cause that nigga be coming across as special. His situation with Professor Reynold's is gonna blow up, it's only a matter of time.

Didn't think they'd write Tasha off the show like that. I would've enjoyed seeing more of the dynamic between her and Monae. Is she getting her own show too?

Would've liked for the Tajeda family to have known or heard about Ghost & Tommy, but given the nature of how Ghost operated it's understandable that they wouldn't know who they are, and what they're capable of. Found myself a few times wishing Ghost was still alive, so he could set some of these niggas straight

Overall I know the show got some flaws, but my overall enjoyment with it vastly outweighs it's flaws. It's no where near as bad as the last 2 seasons of Power. The writers sometimes unnecessarily write themselves into a string of messy entangled plotlines, that only ever truly pay off about half the time at best. But the journey through to get there is still enjoyable.

Assuming all the spin offs that are planned are successful, I hope we get some kind of cross over event ngl. Tommy, Tasha, and Tariq play off each other so well.

    Many men

Was really good until the last line from Tommy to Tariq "we ain't ever gonna see each other again"

If they let that little b**** get away with killing ghost I'm gonna flip

Like you said before, the fact she saw Tommy face to face and never knew him was bullshit. New York isn't that big- and Tommys whole character is built on him being 'out there' and known/feared etc

And the body isn't just going to disappear because of the explosion. So the plan was dumb

But since the 3rd season on they've put in silly things like that. Best to just try and ignore the flaws at this point

forensics teams use teeth or teeth x rays to identify bodies sometimes when they’re unrecognizable. That’s why on the phone tommy says “ I didn’t pull out my molars for nothing” his teeth would be enough evidence of his death thus closing the case
