looks like the last couple seaons of mandalorian, cookie cutter and simply meant to extend the brand at this point
Can’t even diss because @FKAemj one of the best posters
first season will always be goated tho
They never expected Baby Yoda to take off like it did

2nd season as well. The ending of season 2 was the most hyped I'd been for Star Wars in a long time. It's unfortunate that it's been downhill since then
As someone who fell off of the show after season 2, the trailer did nothing to excite me or get me back interested
Not even sure why they are making a movie?
I have no idea how Disney fumbled The Mandalorian soo badly. They made a bold decision to bring in Luke for the second season finale and have him take Grogu. It was truly a moment for all Star Wars fans... Then they just had them reunite way too quickly in that mid BoBa Fett series. It cheapened the entire experience imo.
They should have just ended the show after season two and made a movie set several years in the future. Start it off with either some crazy bounty hunter mission for Din or even have him as the leader of the Mandalorians (Give no explanation, sometimes everything does not need to be spelled out and creates more intrigue in the audience).
Then at some point in the movie have Grogu and Din somehow reconnect due to whatever conflict there is. It would have played out soo much better creating anticipation and them reuniting would have been a good emotional moment.
I stopped half way through Season 3. The BoBa Fett series and season 3 pretty much ruined Din as a character. I have no faith in Disney being able to turn this story around at this point and this trailer is stale.

I completely agree. The trailer doesn’t even give a sense of what the story or direction is.
I feel like it’s gonna bomb. It honestly plays out like they’re just doing some special imax screening of some episodes
plus just the general apathy people feel towards Star Wars nowadays
I mean I’ll go see this at the movies cuz i get free tickets and it’s a Star Wars mando movie
But it’s definitely gonna be mid. It’s gonna be incredibly safe and a textbook cookie cutter movie that you get from Disney

It's probably going to bomb and f*** up any anticipation for the Gosling movie too. I have no idea what they are thinking.
The sequel trilogy was gorgeous, why did Disney decide to suck out all of the sauce from the franchise?
Cutting ties with Rian Johnson was the worst thing they could’ve done
Mans directed the sauciest Star Wars film we’ve seen
The shot looking up at the AT-AT explosion feels like the only shot I couldn't/wouldn't have seen in a Mando episode.

tbf it is the first movie since the sequels, and they probably want this to have visual consistency with the show.
but next up we have shawn levy

So when the movie auto plays on Disney Plus its like you never missed a beat.

I can’t believe we’re about to enter an era of ugly Star Wars films
Looks terrible. They really ruined the best Star Wars series they had going in like the last 2 decades.
Also didn’t the razercrest blow up?

This is better than andor?
This is better than andor?
First 2 seasons were all time TV in terms of capturing pop culture relevance and excitement. Andor is great but it doesnt have the potential that Mando did. Either way, mando has been dead since boba show and season 3
