The show is called THE Mandalorian, not The MandalorianS. THE Mandalorian refers to Din, so the show first and foremost should be about him. His story is what drew the audience in.

The minute you take the spotlight off of Din and Grogu, the viewing figures fall.

I almost wanna say that Dave Feloni was a driving force behind this. His claim to fame in Star Wars has always been about retconning and filling in the gaps between the movies.

Might’ve started that way, and been initially conceptualized as a single character, but things change something SW purist never been good with.

Bo has been the saving grace of the season. She’s carrying it on her back. The character y’all should be mad at is Grogu completely undermined the journey of season 1-2.

Din is more of a Mad Max type character

One thing I hate that Dave Filoni has done to The Mandalorians, is made them comprised seemingly only of humans. EU had Mandos of all species in its ranks, Wookiees, Rodian, Zabrak, Zeltros, Twi’lek etc.

Disney hasn’t done anything to help this either. All the movies lack any interesting alien characters.

So what, Gideon gonna get smacked up by Thrawn, then Thrawn obv going to get clapped since he's not in the ST and Hux will eventually lead the charge for leading the First Order?

Watching how the first order slowly grew out of the ashes of the Empire is so cool

why does he need to serve a purpose? i simply dont get this slant of hate on the show? he's an awesome side character. his arc is basically complete. he doesn't NEED to be a plot driver just because he was in season 1 and 2

moff prolly weakest part of this so far for me this season. super bland with no real goal other than maybe simping for the higher ups in the empire lol. and his whole shtick of having super suit ass clones with him is kinda tired and boring.

his hate boner for the Mandalorians, while it makes sense cause mando cucked him hard, is not too compelling for me personally. nothing that ruins anything but it just feels a tad random this season.

lack of true love interest between din and bo is also crazy. ik ppl on here been complaining about disney neglecting love interests recently but imo this the most glaring example.

the people trying to slide with the show title. it obv refers to just the Mandalorian lol. he went by that name by most ppl the entirety of the show. it's okay that the show has focused less on him and more on his people, the show title def refers to HIM lol not the Mandalorian people as a whole. again, does not matter much end of day

Also... All the Aliens speak english in such a human-centric way. Why are some of them even speaking english?? Greedo didn't. Jabba didn't.

Which also makes it weird how Bo Katan is so young lmao. Isn't she suppose to be old as heck? When Maul died, Luke was a small kid. Now he's like 30 and she looks like shes 28
