Not even gonna lie.

Once Mandalorian is done just shut down star wars.

One of the greatest ip's of all time and Disney has struggled and fumbled for what like a decade to make anything quality. You get random offshoots that turn out well, but it's mostly rolling the dice and failing the majority of the time.

I truly don't think they can save it.

But they'll sure af try.

When marvel inevitably collapses under the weight of its own algorithm and oversaturation Disney is f***ed

watching this tn. episode 2 was fire though. still confused at the lack of interest to this compared to past seasons. i get the boba stuff yada yada yada. just not sure why the general viewer would have soured on this?

A lot of Obi was pretty dumb but getting Ewan and Hayden back on screen, I think I genuinely would’ve accepted anything they gave me.

Who cares? We already know he dies so what is the point of even putting stupid s*** like that in the show? Disney is so messed up in nostalgia its pathetic

he's just a side character. getting hung up on grogu is cop out s*** imo. he is a fun companion to mandos side. him not becoming a jedi is no big deal really imo.

not every character needs some sort of over arching story. think r2-d2 and BB8. "both used to sell products" i get itttt but they're also fun side characters that save the main characters ass time to time.

if this is Disney's "floor" with star wars, i think it is a fine floor. Obi and Boba were worse. and i keep hearing Andor is great, but if you wanna get hung up on stories that have already been told and knowing the outcome, that series would be right in line.

I still need to binge Andor because I heard it was really good but this is what made me not want to watch it at first. We know basically everyone dies in Rouge One

Andor is the floor in my opinion because it has a good storyline. Mando just seems like filler episodes now heading nowhere. Like what really is the main storyline this season?

for him to cleanse his "sins", become a Mandalorian again, and while it may not be going in this direction, rebuild Mandalore seemingly is what he is going to try and do.

I also am maybe just speaking from personal preference. the character as we see him on screen, with grogu, to me are so entertaining, i do not mind the idea of episodes being their own isolated adventures, that only somewhat push the overarching story a tad bit each episode. It reminds me of cowboy bepop tbh, which is a show i loved that had a very very mild overarching storyline that did not really need to matter to keep my interest.
