Kathleen said she wants to move away from the trilogy format so I doubt one director/writer wants to stay for more than 3 movies so this incoherent vision is going to continue and this will all be a mess again

It’s not f***ing rocket science. I pray Kevin takes over this s***. Say what you will, the man knows how to build a cohesive story within a world. Imagine a world where The Maze Runner was able to pull off a more coherent plot over the span of 3 films than f***ing Star Wars

We gonna have to agree to disagree on that one. What I see is 3 movies now of in-cohesive, convoluted nonsense. The only real silver lining here is the fact that’s its over
and with that, an opportunity for the franchise to legitimately start fresh.
