He had plans for a sequel trilogy a lot of stuff was shot down but a couple of his ideas got into the new movies. and I have no problem if you have criticisms with the new movies but when people say something like Jar jar is a better character then rose i have to question your logic.

Rewatched phantom menace yesterday and wow the gungans really make the movie almost unwatchable at parts, plus padmes dumb ass voice and personality changes when she’s queen vs in disguise is hilarious. Pod race and maul fights are great tho. Easily the worst Star Wars film

Yep, they completely dropped the ball with that. A stormtrooper who escapes and finds out he’s destined to become a Jedi trained by Luke Skywalker and defeat the order would’ve been the way more interesting story. That first trailer made it seem like that’s what we were getting and that’s really what had a lot of people intrigued and excited.

See that’s my thing with this trilogy, I understand Kylo and Rey are the lead characters, but Finn, Poe were set for finding something special and, I don’t really feel their arcs got to somewhere, or if they did, TLJ did the job for as stuffed that movie is.

MSW came out with a report saying that in Trevorrow's episode 9 script, it would've been revealed that Rey was the daughter of what was essentially Kylo's nanny/babysitter and that's why there's such a strong connection between them even though they couldn't really place it. Said that their minds would've been wiped which is why neither would be able to remember and then that the huge climactic fight between Rey and Kylo would've taken place in the f***ing Solo household. Was genuinely some of the worst s*** I ever read.

But then Trevorrow came out and said none of it was true in the most passive aggressive way and made the MSW guy look like an idiot
