Apparently, she is the daughter of a Palpatine clone. So, she isn't technically Palpatine's granddaughter.

    ANTI

Daisy was a guest on Kimmel last night and said JJ originally set her up to be related to Obi-Wan somehow. Then Rian took her in the direction of being a no one in TLJ. Then when JJ took over Episode 9 he told he she was gonna be Palpatine's granddaughter, then they abandoned THAT for a while (doesn't say if she was gonna stay no one or go back to JJ's original idea) and she said that even while filming she wasn't sure what they were gonna do. Bit of a mess.

Way smarter than what they ended doing

Damn so Dais doesn't really want to play Rey anymore. I understand it, considering how things ended, but I would love seeing her in the future.

At least she kept her mouth closed and didn't diss Disney. Which she could have easily done.

Nothing worth checking coming soon :( hope she will get a good role soon

Her being nobody was the most interesting angle, even the Palpatine one could have worked out better but for it to constantly change during the process of filming, that's just messy.

Not to me. They spent the whole TFA trying to make us know she was "special". Then she's a regular human being in the second one?

And Finn who's a nobody for two movies is now a jedy on the last one? Lmao

That's what I like about it, I like the misdirection and how it mislead our expectations.

It's kinda the opposite of something like Naruto where the series theme start out with him being special not due to innate talent but rather hard work, that too was reversed in the latter end of the series.

It's two ends of the spectrum and either one could honestly have worked if they were committed to doing it 100% but neither works when they don't.

About Finn, you are right, they did him and lots of another characters dirty in this trilogy. The positive about these movies, are that I never expected things to play out like they did but that might be part of bad writing tho.

Daisy included. It could have been a great character. Still kinda was in ep 8, except for the whole you're a no one thing. Luke sucked too.

I loved TFA and Rogue One. Solo could have been fun if they had shot a sequel, cause it gets interesting towards the end.

Yeah I remember seeing TFA day one and saw huge potential for the franchise, I really liked all the new characters introduced. I need to rewatch Rogue One, I didn't like it on my initial watch and haven't seen it since but a lot of people seem to compliment it recently. It just felt very spin-off to it's core, like you already know how it's going to end and I just didn't warm up to the characters to care about their fate but might change on rewatch idk

I grew up watching the movies at the theater when I was a kid and loved that s***.

Felt the same way watching TFA. I feel like adult nerds ruined the trillogy for the kids with their hate online. Made Disney make changes to please them and Disney lost both fans, young and old.

Episode 3 the best one. Spike TV marathon type s***. These new movies was horrible and people ready to move on. Mandalorian aint wavey either; look like a fan film. Only 1-6 matter, I treat everything like a b****** stepchild.

I ain't gonna lie. I felt sad when she talked about her future projects.

That game seems whack. I've seen the trailer. And the movie with Tom Holland looked bad also.

Mando is well done. But some eps look like dlcs. I guess it's what happens when you have different people working on the same series.

What a mess. This is what happens when you start a trilogy without a clear plan/story. This could've been such a great set of films in the SW lore but Disney butchered it in every sense of the word.
