Ashoka and Baby Yoda either die during the Knights of Ren flashbacks in TLJ, or they use that to retcon the sequel trilogy and say its an alternate timeline. It's likely an easter egg, but it was never confirmed for her character to have died.
There have been voices from characters in other cases who spoke through the force, so Ahsoka could be an exception.
