The effects during the ship chase was mind blowing. The budget is most definitely much higher than last season
I gotta say like I think you guys gotta understand favreau wants the story to be overarching, not necessarily everything be 100% plot driven
It’s like some episodes are gonna be like side quests from video games,
It would be easier to accept if mando was at least somewhat closer to reaching his goal by the end of the eps. Of course not every eps has to be insanely plot driven but we're basically at the same place we were at in eps 1 and we learned nothing new about mando or the child.
plus im not really a fan of just seeing mando kill animals from star wars games and callbacks. It is a good watch but it could be great and i think thats most people's problem with eps like this.
anyone kinda not like that the rebel a280 blaster rifle that the X Wing pilots used had the same sound as the stormtrooper e-11 blaster
maybe im just too nitpicky
I liked this episode but it was pretty much the exact same formula as the last one. This show impresses me with everything except for plot progression
I like spending time with Mando/Child but goddamn get the plot moving. I'm getting a bit tired of these side quest episodes.

Yeah it’s my least favorite aspect of this show for sure
I like mando when’s he’s just shooting s*** when he’s fighting he moves like a generic version of Batman

Yeah but if everything was just gunslinging the shootouts would get stale.
I just prefer this mando. They make him look like a real mandalorian
Season 1 mando was getting his ass kicked all over the galaxy till episode 5 or 6

We’re like only a quarter of the way through
Really liked that episode, might have been my favorite “side quest” type episode
the spiders from rebels were huge in this, that one giant one that almost kills them
Episode 2 was meh.
People just need to get used to the format for this show. It’s like Xena. I guess some kids didn’t grow up watching that show.
He’s doing side missions to get to the main goal like a video game. It builds character for the show.
Of course there will be episodes where you feel like it did nothing for the main plot but I don’t mind the format.

Stfu yo
i don't understand the filler argument
this is star wars
there are all kinds of adventures all over the galaxy and they giving us quality material
who gives a f*** if it moved the plot forward
did you have fun watching it or nah
would you rather watch the sequel trilogy?
i just feel like they clearly care about this show and the budget is crazy so why not just let them rock?
it'll pay off in the end
nah mean

I swear when i heard the shots they were gonna be Empire troops and caught me off guard when it was the Rebels.
They messed up on that ha
