E06 Chapter 6 “The Prisoner”: HOLY F***! How did it took years for Disney to understand THIS is what Star Wars needs and not remakes? something that goes back to the roots and does something NEW!

This is hands down the best episode, the plot, the team, the inspirations of western from the Mexican standout scene to some WELCOMED horror feels when it gets all red and the Mandalorian creeps on the guy, this is like if they took the final Vader scene of Rogue One and expended on it

Also funny to see the directors cameos! and why does the brother and sister look familiar? has this species shown in Star Wars before? Return Of The Jedi? or maybe it just looks like the Fifth Element girl huh

Only down part is the music starting to go.., trap? I wouldn’t mind somewhere else in the show but during a climatic moment it really undersells the tension

E07 Chapter 7 “The Reckoning”: GODDAMN Carl Weathers is a good ass actor whew who would’ve thought he aged better in his skills today than Billy Dee Williams, ay man Billy the og and he prolly nothing to play with on TROS but damn Carl!

LOVING the horror vibes still coming on holy f*** did we need this to get back in Star Wars!

I really wanted to believe the end didn’t end up like this but it did, they got me, so good job!

E08 Chapter 8 “Redemption”: Okay bro no cap the intro scene with the stormtroopers and the kid is top 5 best Star Wars scènes oat, Taika killed it

Esposito stepping up his game and looking amazing, love the comeback of black stormtroopers, the whole setting being very western again so I’m in man all the way, I’m invested by what’s going on and care about the cast because the pacing is good and they are a small tight gang unlike the trilogy, they actually got me there when the place was on fire, almost thought he was legit gonna die and I totally didn’t believe he was gonna show his face!

The droid going Terminator 2 was amazing and he is by far the best droid on the Disney Star Wars

Choreography for the action in this one was so good too

I feel like I just wrote the two longest posts ever in history of ktt2 so far smh

When they show a sky of Star destroyer the scale is so ridiculous how am I supposed to be invested and feel in danger it makes no sense anymore

That’s why E06 of this was goat goat, if you have good writing you don’t need much more than 4 walls

the finale was both massive but small scale because of those more personal relationships

I can’t wait to see where they go next

Yeah like you still follow a small gang in one location it kept very tight and western stylized

Hope second season follows that and doesn’t get too loosely

hope we learn more about Moff Gideon.

He killed it and i can’t wait to see him become a more fleshed out villain

And the Fan Service in this doesn’t feel unorganic or anything like that
