Chill man. It's basically a boba fett show. Wtf this is everybody's childhood dream.

I'm the first one to s*** on what Disney's done with star wars but you're being too picky if you expect this to have breaking bad or madmen levels of drama and narrative depth. It's like a pre-teen borderline family friendly action show. They're doing extremely well with what they have to work with.

It's supposed to be a cool action adventure series in the star wars universe and gives you that lone space cowboy vibe. I would say it has already 100% lived up to that goal and it's only been 3 episodes.
Maybe give it time. He literally just got off the first planet. Alot of narratives can seem generic until they really get the ball rolling and find out what they wanna be.

The visuals are good for a tv show, but the writing has been awful so far and even worse predictable. It just takes away a lot from the show for me. Only good thing now is hopefully since basically the prologue is finished we can actually get some surprises.

I just don’t love Star Wars as much as you guys tbh because I can’t ignore how obvious the plot has been so far. Only good thing now is that since he going with baby yoda the show can actually tell the story they want.

It's not the sopranos or breaking bad but it's pretty good. when the a eps ends i already want the next one, I care for baby yoda and the mandalorian even tho they both don't say much so it's doing something right.
