I wonder how they dodged the whole contract clause that George Lucas signed saying to never release the original versions
that probably was never real lmao

Facts, Disney lawyers might’ve taken half a second to laugh at that clause before going about their day
this is dope news though, hope they do a home release too

Telling the fandom what they needed to hear. The Acolyte would’ve taken the franchise to new heights if they wasn’t p****.
@Elric
Wasn't baby Yoda on one of those or something lol
DC Studios the blueprint I see lmao
Filoni lowkey is kind of a one trick pony though smh
This is the guy behind Book of Boba Fett like come on
And he reportedly wasn’t a fan of Andor???

I respect everyone has different tastes but not liking Andor is pretty suspect to me

There’s nothing concrete for him not liking Andor, and he’s only ever praised it publicly.
But outside of that, yeah not great. The Filoni-verse has yielded very mixed results, and certain aspects of it have been the worst part of the Disney era for me.

I just remember seeing that somewhere recently
I’m afraid we’re about to be stuck in this post ROTJ pre TFA purgatory we’ve been in for the last decade for even longer

It’s more about the characters he chooses to focus on than the era for me (though that is also a problem)
I actually think the 30 years between ROTJ and TFA needs to be fleshed out more, especiallly towards the latter end, but focusing on Ahsoka, Mando and Boba in an era that’s much closer to the fall of the Empire feels largely superfluous and a big reason why the brand feels stagnant. Familiar characters in an era that still feels very familiar. We’re not moving forward nor backwards.
And don’t even f***ing get me started on the animated Maul show between ROTS-ANH, THAT is an era that needs to be moved away from. The last THREE animated series have been set in that era.
