Jessica Kirson my current favorite. Saw her in a room with like 10 other people and it was magic. She was in between material so it was like 50% crowdwork. It was wild because I saw Doug Stanhope pack the same room out and he prolly only got half the energy.

Also, if you live in a big city, don’t get thrown off when the “audience” at an open mic is just other comics waiting to go on. That’s pride f***ing with you. You fight through that s***.

It’s rare that non-comics will be at an open mic. It’s sad because it doesn’t help you grow.
