1. S/T
2. Masseduction
3. Strange Mercy
Don’t know how popular of an opinion this is, but I always felt like SM drops off in the second half, Dilettante is the only track I think is really on par with the first half (Chloe in the Afternoon to Strange Mercy).
masseduction is my s***
The Met with Yves omg… gotta see how I feel abt this new one, I wasn’t big on her last two
a Fassbinder stan, knew she was real
First review.
Sounds like she’s got a banger.
Also curious if we’ll get another single by Friday since it drops next week.

yup. there are definitely moments i like on it (Hang On Me, outro of Pills, New York, Young Lover) but all of her releases before and after are ALBUMS. including Daddy's Home. this one just never connected for me

it's very unfortunate because a st.vincent pop album on paper sounds like an absolute slam dunk :/
man i just looked up new york while typing this because i remember liking that track...why does that song in retrospect sound like wildest dreams from taylor lol
