That’s my gripe with it as well.

I’m not against pop music if it’s done in an interesting way. The last Weeknd album has a lot of pop elements and I loved it. Same with Dua Lipa.

This is just so blandness and generic. Some people straight up exposing themselves in this thread with their cookie cutter taste.

well Drake is an artist who's been around for a decade he has double the #2 artists total streams on Spotify, hes sold 1m copies of an album first week and he previously had the record with nonstop which was a single, had a music video, huge playlisting, and was the first real track on an incredibly anticipated album

its not unreasonable at all for people to think its weird for that to get topped by an artists debut single
