I’m not against pop music if it’s done in an interesting way. The last Weeknd album has a lot of pop elements and I loved it. Same with Dua Lipa.

playlisting is high but like barely even higher than that SZA song
the Disney show is really not that popular at all
her previous song blew up on tiktok and still only charted at #90
the song is doing resoundingly well on tiktok but still nowhere near the level that justifies 6m streams in a day
botted streams generally aren't a thing at that high level - its usually done through playlisting instead and I highly doubt they'd boost it to this level if they were botting cause now its gonna be scrutinized
even on google trends she's not even getting close to where drake was on scorpion release

it just really doesnt make any sense whatsoever like my initial thought would be that something suspicious is happening cause it doesnt feel like a cultural moment anywhere near big enough to result in these numbers but I also cant see how they'd even be pumping it to this level without there being some obvious source of it
