it’s definitely a long game, I’m level 50 at 20 hours in and there’s a lot more to go it seems, plus I’ve heard there’s an infinite mode unlocked at the end

Yeah it seems like you level faster as you play through the hidden isles and the rest of the second map, probably because you’re fighting so many bosses in each level

Anyone cop this digital instead of physical? I feel like it fits more as a digital game with its “pick up and play” style, plus $10 cheaper.

I’m a mixed physical / digital guy (usually get big single player games physical, multiplayer/pick up and plays digital) and this game seems to have both so not sure

I’m level 70 and I can tell when I get to the true final boss I’m gonna put this game away, so I’m glad I got it physical. It’s fantastic but it’s not something that has enough depth to keep playing past that imo

I bought the game physically for pretty much the same reason as maxxing.

I'm gonna hold out and see if the do some.multiplayer updates, because the game is ripe for it and they're already halfway there.

After doing some research on this it seems like the game is right up my alley… not sure if Nintendo did a bad job marketing this or if I wasn’t paying attention but this has multiplayer and a sense of progression akin to monster hunter? I thought it was literally just single player story-focused splatoon

It's a hoard mode at heart. If you're expecting Monster Hunter levels of depth, you'll be dissapointed.

It's a fun game, but some of the comparisons I have been seeing are over the top.

Finished this up last night after about 20 or so hours. Pretty enjoyable experience. I'll probably do a bit of bottomless buffet, but doubt I'll go too deep on it. Bit disappointed in the lack of color in the game (lol), as most of the environments feel VERY drab with the more earthy/gray colors.

Cannot lie though, the music in the dens/underground is f***ing ass. I hate it so much
