What stops people from in the future looking at this movie as a "oh that's spider-men from a different universe" the same way we look at Into The Spider-Verse now?
Cant speak on that . Ppl I knew that arent big fans still loved this though so maybe you right
don't take the bait
some people don't have anything better to do lol
Works the other way around too. Some people ain't got nothing better to do than to take the bait ;)
S*** gave me chills . I was anxious asf that whole scene
deadass thought the man was having a panic attack
that was a crazy way to make us see the spidersense
Yall confuse theater etiquette with hating some people need to learn some f***ing manner
while i see where you're coming from
there were still at lot of people who had to watch MCU films for the first time a couple years ago and they still cried at the end of IW/Endgame
i don't think people in the future need history with the characters but they will need context to really enjoy these films.
if someone just watched MCU Spidey trilogy isolated from the Iron Man/Avengers slate and with no prior Spidey films i could see this movie being confusing as hell tho
best part about this is Tobey spiderman movies are the first films you gotta see in an MCU rewatch now
I can't believe we basically got Spider-Man 4
They wrapped up all loose ends so well
That was the perfect ending to the homecoming trilogy and opening to OG Spider-Man. Making his own suit, living by himself, black suit Spider-Man etc f*** that’s got me so hyped
I wasnt a fan of how they got revealed tbh ! actually Garfield got introduced nicely, I just thought Tobey was gonna be more epic
I agree on this tbh. I wasn’t mad at it, but would’ve preferred the two be introduced in different ways
I agree on this tbh. I wasn’t mad at it, but would’ve preferred the two be introduced in different ways
like when zendaya was falling, garfield out of nowhere saves her. that would have been epic
This was dope asf but I dont understand why they alluded to ANY of these cameos tbh. I think they should have done there best to keep all of it a secret. Would have been much more mindblowing seeing everything at a complete surprise. But I guess marketing played a part in it. Movie was amazing though.
I had read somewhere that they originally intended to keep it a secret. They probably had a hard time figuring out how to market it without having a villain at the center of the marketing.
The scene on the bridge when Doc Ock appears would have blown peoples f***in minds if it wasn’t in the trailers. I can’t even imagine
yoooo when daredevil caught that rock
HOLY S*** I LOST ITTTTT
My theater lost they s*** just when his stick entered the frame
yoooo when daredevil caught that rock
HOLY S*** I LOST ITTTTT
The sign of a really good lawyer
They wrapped up all loose ends so well
deadass started tearing up when mans said he's been working it out with MJ
after that Spiderman 3 ending I get closure after 14 years
peter literally swings over this tree and ice skating ring in the ending
both set around christmas

who’d y’all catch in the multiverse tears? I saw what looked like Rhino and Kraven. My homie said he saw Scorpion

Not the same year because the Statue of Liberty isn't completed in the movie, but in Hawkeye it is.
ayyo I was really gonna give this movie an 0/100 rating when Tobey got stabbed and I thought they were killing him off
The only thing they really had to do correctly was NAIL the AG and tobey intros and.. welp…
My friends swear venom is gonna be the next villain, what yall think?
Why would they show the symbiote? Think it’s kinda obvious he will be at some point (new venom) and black suit Spider-Man. You saw how dark Peter was when fighting goblin. Imagine him with the symbiote on him
Not the same year because the Statue of Liberty isn't completed in the movie, but in Hawkeye it is.
weeks have passed since the final fight and actual ending so it could have been reconstructed
But both definitively set in 2024
idk man
i know people who have never really watched star wars but love the Mandalorian and i really can't imagine enjoying that s*** without a deep star wars knowledge
but then i realize most people are just passively engaged with stuff and don't have this completist mindset
