Well yeah they working with the military
Disney MCU if they actually all had freedom to tell whatever story
Bob Iger and Avi Arad jerking each other off in the credits summarizes the movie
I keep forgetting that MCU is military-industrial complex
wild how that works eh
To be fair i grew up on neither
I just find more aesthetic value and content to be found in anime stories
I mean Anime is dealing with issues of overworking drawers and animators. Same way hero movies are. Mass production

Heroes who cause destruction lead to death of civilians but still care about americans

WE GOTTA UNIONIZE THESE MONOPOLISTS OUTTA HERE
Heroes who cause destruction lead to death of civilians but still care about americans
caring about Americans until it's the poor and exploited class
healthcare isn't real care, glorifying the military is

They going to have miles at a black lives matter rally in into the spiderverse or something on the nose watch
Glad they didn’t. Hot take but that fight scene is a chore to watch and idk why tbh. Both times I saw the movie I was waiting for this scene to be over as i was watching it
I can't stop thinking about the scene where Goblin shows up and Peter gets a fright, then the nanosuit just suddenly activates
It's like you can tell Peter is terrified, he basically did the nanosuit equivalent of pooping his pants in that moment
film seems boring
haven't seen anything yet tho
It's not boring. Plot holes and illogical choices by the characters to move the plot forward, sure. But boring, it is not

I'm easily bored by things people find amazing, trussmi

As someone who finds the parts of Blade Runner 2049 I've seen absolutely f***ing boring, I can relate

Nah that first hour a lil boring especially since he dont give a f*** about the nostalgia of seeing old characters

Maybe, but I would not call this film boring. Thor is an example of a boring MCU film

we shooting the s***. I aint hating to tell Be2 who I know what he finds exciting and what he doesnt that I dont think this movie is for him. Like if he loved MCU and superheroes possibly exciting but if he has made clear he is not invested in this universe, spider man or super heroes this isnt something that will in anyway excite him
Watching Spider-Man 3 rn and god Harry was on one
Just saw this.
What an insanely mid movie. My GOD.
This was literally carried so hard by the giants of the past.
I thought the story would be better this time around but again, it falls short.
The acting caliber difference is astounding. Watching Andrew just shows how not up to par Tom is. Or rather, his writing sucks.
The Matt cameo was pretty dumb. Just felt Like they threw him in there for the moment n not for any sort of legitimate story design.
Zendayas mj....Holy sh*t....idk how they did it but they somehow made a character we know very little about who was a bit quirky and made her into a stereotypical teen who's only defining trait is that she dates spiderman n her secondary trait is "college is coming". They never knew what to do with her. How does Ned have more development than her?? Lol legit laughable.
It 100% feels like toms spidey went through more challenging experiences in homecoming than in this one. It also shows how not impressive his villains have been.
They BARELY focus on the publics response to spiderman. Showing someone throw something at him and a protest at his school. Wow. Wonderful commentary.
Also all the Dr. Strange scenes felt...off...weird. like...him n Tom have zero chemistry. Their lines especially at the end felt so forced. N I don't even wanna talk about that garbage post credits scene lol. It was full mask off finally.
The only thing that made this movie work was the action set pieces and looking towards the past to carry this franchise. Thank God for Andrew n Tom's chemistry and Defoe and Molina with the acting power.
Damn this was supremely disappointing.

this movie really got me reading spidey comics again. it took me too long to realize spider-man was my favorite hero all along
That alone proved he a better actor than Holland
After my 4th viewing. I really can’t wait for what they do next
