Homecoming A tier at the highest and Far From Home is B or C tier

problem wit these movies for me is the second half always 10x better than the first half.

First half of Far Frome Home borderline ass, till they finally do the mysterio reveal then it gets good.

First half of No Way Home is 1 plot contrivance after another, but the second half is GOAT level

As a theater experience it was top 1,

but as a movie I don't think it's the best cause it relies so heavily on the greatness of spiderman movies that came before it. Once the magic of seeing tobey and his villains for the first time fades away, the plot is not as great as other MCU movies like winter soldier, civil war, infinity war. guardians of the galaxy etc.

Very fair, I’ve only ever seen this in theaters so I think I’ll get a better measurement of the movie itself when I watch it outside of theaters

yea I don't think it's fair to say it's top 1 yet so close to release. maybe in a couple years looking back it'll actually be top 1. it's def top 4 or 5 for me rn though.

honestly if the first half of this movie was as amazing as the first half, I'd put it at top 1. before green goblin turns evil again i thought the movie was just fine, but then it gets amazing

Not to mention the pacing was perfect.
I think it's the closest MCU has gotten to perfection

I can agree on a critical level that IW is a better stand alone movie than EG but the experience of seeing EG in theaters was a once in a lifetime experience and it wrapped up the entire MCU so well.

you wild for having thor in the top 10 but i respect the list. I think No way home would fit around 8 or 9 though

honestly this can't be top 1 mcu just cause spiderverse did the same story already and better

-family dies
-other spidermen come in and say "we lost family too"
-main spiderman gets more inspired
-all the spidermen fight together vs all the villains at the end
-leading up to the main villain fighting the main spider man (kingpin/miles, peter/goblin)

need that miles spiderverse sequel

I mentioned it earlier but to reiterate: I like the meat and potatoes of this film. I love the returning Peters and returning villains. I think they pulled off this fanfare in a really fun way.

EXCEPT I really don’t like the set up to the movie (doctor strange committing an atrocious malpractice of his powers and being a complete dummy) nor the ending (giving the world Peter Parker amnesia). If those plot points were different, I could get on board this movie as top 10 MCU
