“Bro y’all sound lame as f***”

Bro I know you a stan and s*** but actually read what the f*** niggas is saying before getting in your feelings and taking this s*** as a personal attack man what the f***.

The concern comes from the fact that movies with mid ranged budgets for adults USED to make money.

And that space has been bought out by Disney. When you got Disney buying out Fox, getting their catalogue only so they can get Deadpool, X Men and their Star Wars s*** while not showing the respect to the rest of their catalogue and pretty much sending their movies out to die all for a monopolization that s*** is weird.

Only Fox movie them Niggas didn’t kill was Free Guy cuz that served their own IP.

Niggas so deep rooted in defending their favorite comic book franchise they cheering on the monopolization of the movie industry.

“If there’s a demand for Nightmare Alley people will see it” Nigga look at that picture again. It’s like 3 showings for Nightmare Alley yet Spider-Man got a showing at 2 AM. For what?

Disney putting money where they know will make money

Y’all act like indie movies don’t make waves if the movies are good

Demand for Spider-Man is up so they filling that demand. Simple as that. No one wants to watch nightmare alley when an EVENT MOVIE like No Way Home is out

    Business is business bruh

I guess this is nothing specific about this movie but I think it fits because some users itt have said something similar.

I really dislike the whole notion nowadays that something has to be RATED.
I feel like a lot of people go into movies(same s*** applies to music) just so they can get off a rating on twitter or letterboxd or imdb or whatever.
Like if your mindset about any movie is what should I rate this, you'd be better off without watching anything.
And I myself am guilty of this sometimes, everyone is tbh.

How about we sit with a movie instead of the classic or the worst movie ever.
That instant gratification kicking our butts as a collective fr.

    Also,there is like 0 nuance when discussing something,its either a 10/10 or a 0/10 loool.
    Where the sixes,sevens at???

    Bless
Ratings are meaningless except for things that completely transcend expectation and for which an out of field score would be its most impactful verdict
That's why Rotten Tomatoes is the best rating site, only criteria is "did you like the movie or not?"

I agree with the fact that Disney is trying to make that money and theaters are especially doing the most to make up for losses in the past year.

But you don’t feel like Disney couldn’t atleast move Nightmare Alley up a week or two to atleast give it a shot? I would’ve loved to watch it at my nearest cinema, but (when theatres were still open) I had to travel to the other end of the city just to see it.

“Nobody wants to watch Nightmare Alley when an event movie like Spider-Man is out” you keep skipping over the fact that Disney essentially owns both films and released them on the same day.

Them buying out studios and doing s*** like this doesn’t strike you as stupid as f***.

Not to mention the marketing for the movie was abysmal no s*** people don’t wanna see it it’s not even getting promo 💀💀💀💀

Tony made sure Falcon had to beg for a $5000 loan at the bank, he would never provide like that.

ima just pipe in to say nightmare alley being chosen to drop not just the same month but same day as spiderman is very unwise lol

And Disney owns both films and chose to do this. Go figure

You REALLY think Nightmare Alley would have made that much more without another movie going against it?

    COME ON

It would not be a box office giant with or without Spider-Man

You’re talking a blockbuster movie going against a cool indie action movie. Nightmare Alley was NOT gonna make money like that with all the marketing in the world

anyone who think a SM4 is even an option is delusional. Nobody should even need to explain why this won’t happen. This was his final goodbye

5 years ago if you said "bring tobey in the MCU" people would say it's impossible and you're dumb for asking for it

safe to say nothing is impossible at this point, especially with all the money this made.

It sets a bad precedent tho. They’ll probably throw great movies in the D+ bin, because Deadpool 3 is filling up every seat around town.

Hell, even a lot of small theaters over here had a lot of Spider-Man showings in favor of less profitable films.

And streaming services don’t make niggas money like they think it does. It’s a reason Christopher Nolan and the other directors were pissed at WB / HBOMax
