Would be kino if Ben Affleck Daredevil, Topher Grace Venom and Edward Norton Hulk showed up in the next one

Nahhhh…it’ll become too gimmicky if that happens. Can’t keep using the same trick

I wouldn’t mind if it was delayed. I’m actually surprised how consistent they’ve been with dropping Spidy every other year

    Spider-Man just made $250 million.

The biggest weekend at the box office (the entire top 10 combined) during COVID prior to this was $125 million).

So Spider-Man doubled the previous total weekend record on its own, and made 12 times more than the next 9 movies this weekend combined.

Based on a numbers game it makes total sense that Spider-Man would have significantly more showings.

No movie all pandemic has had this many daily showings and t mobile 4$ Tickets lol

you think it's unecessary, but in reality shooting on location/open air sets is a lot more expensive and comes with more obstacles especially more so with covid.

cg artists are given the best clean plates possible (green/blue screen shot footage) but not given enough time sadly. time and care taken over the cg, and you wouldnt notice it half as much

It’s also the fact that vfx companies not only have to work on films now, but also cover the ever rising number of TV shows, that also feature a lot of CG shots.

We’re talking top 10’s combined here. The top 10 combined will have more showings than Spider-Man. The most the top 10 combined has made in a weekend has been $125 million.

People don’t just walk up to a theater and wait in line to find out what’s playing and just go see whatever is about to start. People go to the movies to see something specific.

As far as T-Mobile $4 tickets, they do this pretty frequently. And the box office doesn’t count tickets sold, it counts money paid for tickets. So if every ticket sold for $4, then it would take 63 million people buying tickets to make $253 million, vs if they were buying $12 tickets you’d only need 21 million.

So if the T-Mobile tickets were used widely, they would have only made the already incredible $253 million number deceptively lower than it could’ve been.

I guess this is nothing specific about this movie but I think it fits because some users itt have said something similar.

I really dislike the whole notion nowadays that something has to be RATED.
I feel like a lot of people go into movies(same s*** applies to music) just so they can get off a rating on twitter or letterboxd or imdb or whatever.
Like if your mindset about any movie is what should I rate this, you'd be better off without watching anything.
And I myself am guilty of this sometimes, everyone is tbh.

How about we sit with a movie instead of the classic or the worst movie ever.
That instant gratification kicking our butts as a collective fr.

    Also,there is like 0 nuance when discussing something,its either a 10/10 or a 0/10 loool.
    Where the sixes,sevens at???

    I’d give nwh a solid 8/10

“There’s a high demand for people wanting to see spider-man so we met that demand. No wait, let’s not give movie goers what they want! Let’s have empty theaters for this REAL cinema!!!!”

    Bro y’all sound lame af

People want to see Spider-Man and the demand for it is crazy.

If people want to see a movie (like nightmare alley), people will watch it lmao

“Bro y’all sound lame as f***”

Bro I know you a stan and s*** but actually read what the f*** niggas is saying before getting in your feelings and taking this s*** as a personal attack man what the f***.

The concern comes from the fact that movies with mid ranged budgets for adults USED to make money.

And that space has been bought out by Disney. When you got Disney buying out Fox, getting their catalogue only so they can get Deadpool, X Men and their Star Wars s*** while not showing the respect to the rest of their catalogue and pretty much sending their movies out to die all for a monopolization that s*** is weird.

Only Fox movie them Niggas didn’t kill was Free Guy cuz that served their own IP.

Niggas so deep rooted in defending their favorite comic book franchise they cheering on the monopolization of the movie industry.

“If there’s a demand for Nightmare Alley people will see it” Nigga look at that picture again. It’s like 3 showings for Nightmare Alley yet Spider-Man got a showing at 2 AM. For what?
