I haven’t seen The Eternals, but The Suicide Squad is my superhero movie of the year, easy. The little starfish going out the armpit looked so dope.
Also enjoyed ZS Justice League, to my surprise.

The Suicide Squad disappointed me so bad, had the quips of GOTG2 but on another level
    Snyder cut was good tho

They didn’t put much thought into TASM villains being there. They explicitly said these villains are here cuz they’re the ones who know Peter Parker is Spider-Man yet Jamie Fox’s Electro never found out Peter was Spider-Man in TASM2.
Then they brought back all the villains who died fighting Spider-Man… yet Lizard is there?? Lizard got cured in his own story he already had his redemption arc. No need to bring him back.

Sandman’s mid movie heel turn was just outta nowhere and unjustified. They said his main motivation was getting back to see his daughter. I get that but he started fighting after Peter already shown that he could cure Doc Ock and he was clearly working on sending them home.

Dr Strange casting this dangerous ass spell without really letting Peter know the full implications of it is a far cry from the careful, strategic dude we saw him to be in Infinity War and Endgame. People blame Peter for f***in up but Dr Strange is literally a sorcerer who knows more about the multiverse than him, he should’ve been more careful.

Peter makes some reckless ass decisions like trusting 5 supervillains to stay calm in a small condo with him and his powerless aunt while he tries to fix them one by one is really dumb when him trusting Mysterio got him in this mess in the first place.

Also Peter trying to fix these villains implied that Andrew and Tobey didn’t try to give these guys second chances in their own franchises, cuz Andrew and Tobey did try to do that, they went and backstabbed them anyway

Ned kinda just knowing how to open portals when we seen the strenuous amount of training Strange had to go to use magic in his own movie is kinda dumb in my opinion.

CGI was pretty shoddy in certain parts of the movie (Andrew and Zendaya) scene for example

Also the middle of the movie kinda felt off pacing wise

strange really sint as careful strategic if u think about it like the dude put all his faith in the rat getting ant man out of the quantum realm

i mean he even uses the same spell just to make wong forget about parties i think ppl forget that hes just a show off douchebag (like in infinity war, endgame he barely did anything besides stop the water)

so i never really had a problem with the dr strange part of the movie

MCU dafoe better than the OG because Dafoe brought more juice to the role, nothing to do with comics or writing or whatever

What juice tho cuz the performances seem identical.

The only thing you could say is that Raimi Dafoe is more cartoony but you can’t put that on him cuz that would be looking at a 2002 movie through a 2021 context in my opinion.

Like yea obviously a 2002 movie gonna be more campy.

But in the context of both movies the roles are pretty much the same

I think you’re missing that part dude literally combed through over 10,000 realities tryna figure out how to kill this one alien and you’re telling me he couldn’t double check with Peter about the implications of the spell

how you mad as s*** when someone doesnt agree with u but you clowning people for their opinions lmfaooo cmon now

He typed me an essay saying I must have not seen the movie because this goblin was more comic accurate and better . I can’t find it funny that what someone typed to me was partially ridiculous? I don’t post on here for likes or to clown others . I ain’t say once his performance in this was bad . People in here saying goblin more developed and unhinged in here than in spider man 1 with triple the screen time . I can’t call that out ?

They humanized him way more in No Way Home, got to build more layers on the character when his performance really carried the role in 2002 movie. I felt like they improved on that when they did SM2 cause I felt Doc Ock was a much better villain then Goblin, Doc Ock from SM2 to No Way Home is way more identical

this movie felt epic and too small at the same time.

whole movie took place in like 3 or 4 rooms and then the CGI statue of liberty

yeah strange did go through 10k realities but that still means there was a low ass percentage of it going well yk ?

strange just isnt that perfect in the MCU yet, thats why he even mad about not being the sorcerer supreme

Think they did this on purpose as a result of Peter becoming the world's most famous human being over night

May aint run up on him with serum or try to help him in spider man 1 . He hunted her down while she praying in a night gown . Y’all can call the movies corny but day one theaters of spider man 1 and 2 was before YouTube and twitter . We genuinely had no idea what would go down and were in shock

Pretty valid complaints. Idek about TASM villians i haven't watched the 1st one since it came out and never watch the 2nd one. Sandman becoming evil confused me to.

Ngl this moive gave me rise of skywalker vibes despite being pretty enjoyable unlike that movie. It felt very unfocused. The one scene that confused me the most was may dying. I like that aunt may died trying to protect peter but idk why she was stanced up acting like she was gonna do something green goblin

I also wonder how ppl who never seen the other 2 spideys will react to this one. Feel like they'll be confused or won't enjoy it as much

How did he not know the spell could turn that bad when he literally kicked Peter out of his house for asking him to cast it instead of using other possibilities.

Nigga spent the whole movie lecturing Peter about the multiverse and telling him to shut up during the spell but he ain’t know it was dangerous

And it’s not just making people forget someone it’s literally mind wiping the entire world LMAO
